OUTSOURCING AS A STRATEGIC VISION
case study of outsourcing management to solve internal bottlenecks.

This article deals with outsourcing as an alternative to production bottlenecks and the decision making process with the objective of meeting sales demand and reducing manufacturing costs. The research was carried out through a case study in an electrical panel industry in São Paulo and evaluates positive and negative points arising from the outsourcing practice. In this study, one can also find an overview of the steps to be followed to facilitate the outsourcing process and resulting in a cost reduction of 14%.
