Vehicle insecurity is one of the main challenges of today’s urban mobility. Thefts and robberies cause financial losses, insecurity, and hinder the daily commute of millions of people. With the advancement of mobile communication technologies, tracking solutions have become more accessible, efficient, and compatible with the concepts of smart cities.
This project presents the development of an intelligent vehicle tracker capable of sending location via GPS and executing remote commands through phone calls (DTMF) and SMS, offering a low-cost, high-impact alternative to increase the security of cars and motorcycles.
