DYNAMIC TRAFFIC LIGHT BASED ON V2X
Keywords:
Dynamic Traffic Light, Urban Mobility, Smart Cities, SustainabilityAbstract
The advancement of vehicular communication technologies (V2X – Vehicle-to-Everything) has driven the development of intelligent solutions for urban mobility. Among them, adaptive traffic light control stands out, capable of adjusting signal timing according to vehicle flow and real-time traffic conditions.
This project proposes the development of a conceptual model for a dynamic traffic light based on V2I communication (Vehicle-to-Infrastructure), using a Real-Time Operating System (RTOS) to ensure deterministic and safe responses. The solution aims to optimize traffic, reduce congestion, and prioritize emergency vehicles, contributing to the efficiency and safety of smart cities.
