Abstract

Carbon Monoxide (CO), a critical industrial pollutant, requires strict monitoring due to its health risks and contribution to the greenhouse effect. This project develops a low-cost IoT system (MQ-7 sensor + ESP32) to monitor CO emissions in real time. Its main differentiator is the integrated dashboard that converts the measurements into green credit values (carbon credits). The goal is to provide an accessible tool for industries to efficiently and strategically promote and manage the offsetting of their carbon footprint.
