Over time, many historical monuments have lost part of their original form due to deterioration and lack of preservation, making it difficult for new generations to visualize what these sites looked like at their peak. This disconnect weakens the bond with history and the cultural identity of each community.
With this in mind, the project proposes the use of QR codes and 3D reconstructions to allow visitors to view, through mobile devices, how these monuments once appeared before degradation, accompanied by historical and cultural information. The initiative seeks to unite technology, education, and preservation, making learning more accessible, interactive, and engaging, while also strengthening a sense of belonging and appreciation for historical heritage.
