Analysis of Voltage Profile in Response to Generation Loss in Interconnected Electrical Systems
A Practical Approach Using the Newton-Raphson Method and Simulation in ANAREDE

The growing demand for energy and the complexity of interconnected systems make precise analyses essential. When a generating unit fails—whether due to overload, weather, or malfunction—the impacts can affect critical sectors such as hospitals, transportation, and telecommunications. Therefore, understanding how the electrical grid responds to generation loss is fundamental to ensuring stability and continuity of supply. This study investigates this behavior, analyzing voltage stability in response to the sequential loss of generators in an electrical system.
