DRIFT TRIKE: Structural, Cost, and Sustainable Feasibility Optimization
Keywords:
Urban mobility, Tricycle, SustainabilityAbstract
This project covered the stages of defining the geometry, modeling, construction, and validation of a drift trike (non-motorized tricycle) as part of the UPX7 course in Mechanical Engineering. The drift trike is a relatively simple structure, allowing great geometric freedom and fostering designers’ creativity. The main challenge was the application of structural validation tools, understanding their principles, and refining the developed model, with a focus on safety, structural optimization, and economic feasibility.
