Abstract

The EcoMarine project investigates the application of piezoelectricity to generate electricity on boats, using the impact of water currents on the hull as a mechanical source. Addressing the demand for sustainable solutions in the face of climate change, the project aims to reduce dependence on fossil fuels and mitigate the environmental impacts of onboard electricity, while also showing potential to lower operational costs in the maritime sector.
