Abstract

The growing environmental concerns and the search for sustainable solutions are driving the adoption of practices that promote the reuse of natural resources. In this context, water from air conditioner condensation emerges as an alternative source that can be used for various non-potable purposes, such as cleaning, irrigation, or toilet flushing. However, to ensure that this water is safe for use, an appropriate filtration process is necessary.

The construction of a sustainable filter to treat air conditioner water is an initiative that combines environmental preservation with water resource conservation. Using low-cost, readily available materials with reduced environmental impact, it is possible to develop an efficient purification system that removes impurities, residues, and potential contaminants. This project aims to demonstrate the feasibility of creating a functional and eco-friendly filter, promoting responsible water reuse and helping to reduce waste.
