Abstract

The smart trash bin is an innovative solution to recurring societal problems, such as poor waste management and the spread of diseases. The main target audience of this project includes students, academic managers, and maintenance and cleaning staff.

Its persona includes direct or indirect consumers who generate waste daily at the university. However, all people who frequent this space (even if they do not produce waste) can be affected by the problems caused by inadequate waste collection.
