Abstract

The group developed an Arduino-based sensor to monitor river water levels, aiming to assist riverside populations living in risk areas with limited access to technological resources.

The importance of this project lies in its ability to provide an early warning system for these communities, allowing them to prepare for possible floods during periods of heavy rainfall. When the sensor detects a significant rise in water level, it issues an alert, enabling evacuation and the preservation of lives.
