The project for the domestic mixer shaft with a helical pinion was developed with a focus on efficiency and durability, ensuring a quiet, high-performance product. Materials such as SAE 8620 steel were chosen for the pinion, providing wear resistance, and fiberglass-reinforced polyacetal (POM) for the crown, ensuring lightness and friction resistance.
The manufacturing process was planned to combine precision (CNC machining for the pinion) and productivity (injection molding for the crown). Each stage of the project was well defined, with an 11-week schedule that included everything from design to final quality testing.
A risk analysis was conducted to prevent issues such as delays or incompatibility between components, and the budget was calculated to ensure financial feasibility. The final result will be a high-quality product with good performance that meets user expectations.
