Recycling Project with Collection Points in Sorocaba’s Public Schools

Abstract

The project aims to reduce the amount of solid waste disposed of in inappropriate locations, as well as to increase community awareness—especially among young people—regarding recycling. The objective is to install collection points throughout public schools in the city of Sorocaba in order to address the shortage of collection sites across the city and to promote a recycling culture among students through incentive programs.
