Abstract

The smart trash bin is an innovative solution to recurring societal problems, such as poor waste management and the spread of diseases. To achieve this goal, the initial idea is to develop a trash bin equipped with sensors that detect its fill level, along with a data center that receives, organizes, and visualizes the information generated by the sensors in combination with the ESP32.
