Abstract

This project proposes the development of an electricity-generating floor that harnesses the mechanical energy from heavy pedestrian and vehicle traffic in urban areas to convert it into electricity.

The energy generated can power streetlights, lamp posts, bus stops, or phone chargers, depending on the volume of pedestrian and vehicle flow.
