Abstract

Technology has irreversibly transformed all aspects of society. Taking current housing as an example, it is possible to observe an increasing introduction of new information technologies and home automation systems into people's daily lives, changing the concept of housing, what it can provide, and how it will need to evolve to meet the population’s needs. Within this context, the concept of “Home Automation” emerges.
