Abstract

Aiming to promote water conservation and understand the applications of home automation in everyday life, this project was developed to implement a smart shower capable of analyzing water flow in this appliance. Through simple devices such as flow sensors and the ESP8266 microcontroller, it was possible to develop a reduced-scale prototype that measures the flow rate and displays the data on an interface for later user analysis.

Thus, the implementation of residential automation becomes essential when focusing on end-user convenience and the promotion of sustainability, since only with smart devices can we achieve excellence.
