Abstract

Controllers are widely used in numerous processes and systems, playing a vital role in the proper operation of applications ranging from the startup of an electric motor to parameter control in nuclear power plants and rockets, minimizing errors and waste.

Among the many controller models, the PID (Proportional-Integral-Derivative) controller is present in various environments due to its ease of implementation and effective operation. For this project, a study was proposed on the application of a PID controller to analyze the behavior of the vertical linear velocity of a lunar module, starting from a MIMO (Multiple-Input Multiple-Output) system as a basis and modifying it into a SISO (Single-Input Single-Output) system.
