Solar Lighting Pole with Monitoring
Keywords:
Autonomous Pole, Urban Sustainability, renewable energyAbstract
Solar energy is a renewable, clean, and abundant source, whose application has grown considerably over the past decades. Its conversion into electricity occurs mainly through photovoltaic systems, which directly transform solar radiation into electrical energy. These systems have proven to be a promising alternative in light of the global need for sustainable and efficient energy solutions. In an urban context, solar energy offers significant opportunities to reduce operational costs and dependence on the conventional power grid.
As a solution, we propose the development of an autonomous public lighting pole powered by photovoltaic solar energy with data monitoring. The collection and analysis of this information aim to optimize the use of stored energy, reducing costs in cities and promoting sustainability with short-term financial return.
