Abstract

Urban growth and excessive consumption have increased the production of solid waste, making improper disposal one of today’s major environmental challenges. To address this issue, EcoToken proposes an innovative solution that combines awareness and technology. The project encourages the proper disposal of recyclable materials through digital rewards, integrating physical collection points with a platform that records the delivered waste and converts it into points or EcoTokens, which can be exchanged for products in a virtual store.
