Carbon Monoxide Monitoring System and Green Credit Calculation
Keywords:
Environmental monitoring, Green credits, SustainabilityAbstract
Carbon monoxide (CO), a critical industrial pollutant, requires rigorous monitoring due to its health risks and its contribution to the greenhouse effect. This project develops a low-cost IoT system (MQ-7 sensor + ESP32) to monitor CO emissions in real time. Its main differentiator is the integrated dashboard that converts measurements into green credit values (carbon credits). The objective is to provide an accessible tool that enables industries to promote and manage the compensation of their carbon footprint in an efficient and strategic manner.
