Abstract

The prototype of the wheelchair with a renewable solar energy system emerges as a sustainable response to the autonomy limitations faced by users of electric wheelchairs, who rely on frequent recharging. This dependency restricts mobility and freedom, especially in locations with limited access to power outlets, impacting quality of life and social inclusion. The integration of a solar energy system is a promising solution, enabled by technological advances in more efficient, compact, and accessible energy harvesting.
