Abstract

According to the WHO, thousands of traffic-related deaths could be prevented with improvements in road infrastructure. Pedestrian crossings, especially on high-traffic roads with low lighting, are among the most dangerous points. In this context, the project proposes an intelligent and sustainable solution: a lighting system activated by motion sensors and powered by solar energy.
