ACCESSIBLE CROSSING AND INCLUSION
SOLUTIONS FOR A SAFE AND INDEPENDENT CROSSING
Keywords:
Urban mobility, Accessibility, Safe crossing, SustainabilityAbstract
Safe urban mobility is a fundamental right of all citizens, including people with visual impairments. However, many pedestrian crossings still lack the necessary infrastructure to ensure their autonomy.
With this in mind, this project proposes the development of a system integrated into the traffic light push button, featuring tactile and Braille resources to facilitate independent and safe crossing. This proposal aims to contribute to more inclusive cities that are better adapted to everyone’s needs.
