The growing concern and search for sustainable alternatives to improve water quality in urban environments has led to a quick-to-implement and low-maintenance solution. This is the case of Floating Wetlands, which consist of floating platforms capable of supporting plants. These plants serve to filter heavy metals and unwanted organic residues from rivers and other local water bodies.
