Abstract

The management of recyclable waste remains a challenge for many companies, mainly due to reliance on manual sorting, which leads to errors, waste, and work overload. SmartConveyor proposes an automated solution that uses color, distance, reflectance, and metal detection sensors to identify materials and direct them correctly. The system aims to make the process faster, safer, and more efficient, combining accessible technology with sustainable practices.
