Abstract

This project proposes the development of a sustainable biosorbent from orange peel for the purification of contaminated water, aiming to create a low-cost and easy-to-apply prototype that uses industrial waste as an adsorbent material. In addition to evaluating the efficiency of activated carbon produced from orange peel in removing contaminants from water, the study seeks to identify the most suitable chemical activating agent for this raw material.
