Abstract

EcoConcrete is an innovation in the construction industry that uses photocatalytic concrete to improve urban air quality. By incorporating titanium dioxide (TiO₂), the material is capable of decomposing atmospheric pollutants—especially nitrogen oxides—and also exhibits self-cleaning properties. This technology promotes sustainability without compromising the concrete’s strength, offering a modern response to urban environmental challenges.
