The 5S methodology, integrated with Lean, promotes organization, efficiency, and waste reduction in work environments. In the administrative sectors of the chemical industry, its application improves workflows, reduces time spent searching for materials, and strengthens operational discipline, contributing to safer and more productive environments. The 5S operates through its five principles to standardize and sustain continuous improvements (ERP Consultorias, n.d.).
