Abstract

The smart bin is an innovative solution to recurring societal problems, such as poor waste management and the spread of diseases. To achieve this goal, the initial idea is to develop a bin equipped with sensors that detect its fill level, combined with a data center that receives, organizes, and structures information about the internal waste level generated through the integration of the sensors and the ESP32.
