Nonprofit institutions rely heavily on volunteer work, which makes the existence of standardized and efficient processes essential to ensure the continuity of operational activities. However, many of these environments present structural weaknesses, mainly related to communication and the control of internal requests. This study presents a solution based on Lean principles and the use of free digital tools to optimize and track purchase requests made by volunteers from an institution’s cleaning team.
