Electricity-Generating Floor Based on Piezoelectricity
Keywords:
Piezoelectricity, Pedestrian flow, Sustainable energy, SustainabilityAbstract
This project proposes the development of an electricity-generating floor that harnesses the mechanical energy from the intense flow of pedestrians and vehicles in urban areas and converts it into electricity.
Thus, the energy generated will be used to power traffic lights, streetlights, bus stops, or mobile phone chargers, depending on the volume of pedestrian and vehicle traffic.
